It may be obvious…. or not…. I am a very experienced automotive consultant. I help folks get cars the easy way. I have been doing it for over 10 years. I started with Toyota, had my own used car store and have settled nicely into a position where I am an independent consultant aligned with a powerful and sizable organization in Colorado. I travel the southwest locating nice vehicles for people.
I was lucky to be trained into a system “the best” in my opinion. Toyota and Kaizen = continuous improvement. When we sold Toyotas the system taught the customer to take very good care of their car. The result is a great product, well cared for, resulting in great resale value.
Overall cost of ownership was less than most other brands. That is how Toyota built value into it’s entire program. There is no wonder that loyal Toyota customers pay up for their cars and still love Toyota even with the headlines of the “killer gas” pedal problem. Toyota had a similar issue with the 3.0 Liter V6 from the early 90’s 4 Runner & Trucks. Head gaskets would fail. They still honor the recall and repair the car no questions asked. It is 2010 now. I believe the last car made with that issue, was built either in 1994 or 1995. 15 years. Great company, great system, great follow through.
The whole thing builds value into what they sell.
Inexperience leaves much of any story unfinished. This is where I will try to tie in Toyotas into MLM or Home Based Businesses or Network Marketing.
Build a system that makes your new business partners successful. A million dollar system that only costs $300. Who wouldn’t buy that? A system like Toyota. Near perfect yet always being improved. From the start our clients need to be pre-educated how to have their business partners or customers, serviced from the start. Solve their problems before they cause frustration and kill their business. Problems like Selling when thay never wanted to sell anything. Calling all their family and friends. Having meetings and having no one show up. Eliminate over load of information. build simple & easy training and startup systems.
In the beginning of their new business opportunity, let them know what to expect. Why they feel the way the feel. How to feel good about the process and how to build the right culture.
When you start anything you are given bits of information that make no sense. As you progress you start to grasp concepts. You get more bits of confusing information. It may be that you get information in the wrong order. High level information that makes sense someday. Just not today.
In time the fog clears as you gain experience, make mistakes and improve.
If you are lucky you start with the right company or right mentor. Most are invited into MLM by the wrong people into the wrong opportunity. Some fail never to do it again. Some stick with it and have over night success in 15 years.
If you have struggled with your own MLM business. I want to help you.
Let’s get you in a Toyota like system. Build value into everything you do. Shorten your learning curve and get you and your business out of the fog.
