Alewife T Station – East Entrance

This is a recurring issue… the MBTA employees that work at the east entrance to the Alewife station consistently park outside the entrance door. These plazas have been verified as open only to pedestrians/bicyclists. T employees are not allowed to park on the plazas. This employee today (as many others before her) was too lazy to park in the parking garage and walk (inside) to her post.

Her car (and the path she drove to get there) is regularly used by pedestrians accessing the offices nearby. These pedestrians are supposed to be able to walk on these pathways/plazas without concern of an approaching automobile.

The MBTA van in the background was used to make legitimate repairs at this entrance. Materials were hauled in the van to do work at the location.
